For students aged 16-18 or 16-24 with an approved Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP).
The Level 1 course equips students with the foundational knowledge and practical skills to progress onto a higher level course or into an Apprenticeship.

Safe working practices
Communication
Environmental protection measures
Scientific principles within building services engineering
Copper pipe fabrication work
Low carbon steel pipe fabrication work
Techniques for installing and securing plumbing pipework
Work Experience
Entry Requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 3 or above
- For students aged 16-18 or 16-24 with an approved Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP)
Progression Opportunities
Successful completion of this course will provide you with the necessary skills, training and knowledge to progress to an Apprenticeship or Level 2 Plumbing and Heating.
