| Leicester City Football Club was founded in 1884, the club started out as Leicester Fosse Football Club with a group of Old Wyggestonians and members of the old Emmanuel church on New Parks street. It wasn't until the summer of 1919 that Leicester Fosse were officially crowned Leicester City. | ||
