The 21-year-old signed a five-year deal at St James' Park in September but was linked with a move to Tottenham in the January transfer window. "Charles came to talk to me about speculation that there was interest from Spurs," Keegan is reported to have told French newspaper L'Equipe. "We'll look at it in the summer as the signs are he is not happy here." N'Zogbia has started every match of Keegan's tenure at the club, but he has often found himself at left-back instead of his favoured position in midfield. The Frenchman, who joined from Le Havre for £250,000 in 2004, is believed to favour a move to London as that is where his mother and his sister live. |

Newcastle United boss Kevin Keegan has praised England striker Michael Owen for breaking his goal duck in the 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough on Sunday. Owen grabbed his first Premier League goal since October to give Newcastle the lead and Keegan was quick to pay tribute after the game. He told BBC Radio Newcastle: "This country has a habit of knocking its great players. "It was the kind of goal he's been scoring since he was a kid." Keegan is yet to win a game since taking over as manager but feels that the talent available means the first three points are not far away. "When you look at your bench and you've got people like Viduka on there, Ameobi and the young Milner you're thinking 'Yeah I can change things'," he added. "We'll have a strong squad for when Manchester United come here and we'll need it."
