PHIL COLLINS Phil Collins is a 56 year old English progressive rock and pop singer, songwriter and actor. He is most famous as the lead singer and drummer of the progressive rock group Genesis. He joined Genesis in 1972 as drummer. When Peter Gabriel left the group he took over as Lead Singer and Drummer. While in Genesis he launched his solo singing career which revealed his pop singing side and his piano skills. Phil Collins has sold over 50 million solo copies worldwide. He lives in Surrey, England.

Genesis: Turn it on Again The Tour 2007 Genesis did the Turn it on Again Tour in 2007 across Europe and North America after much speculation that they were going to retire. The tour marked 45 years for Genesis in the Music Industry. They toured Manchester, Paris, Montreal, Prague, Berlin, Munich, London, and Rome. The "New" Genesis band consisted of 5 members, (Phil Collins, Mike Rutherford, Tony Banks, Daryl Streumer, and Chester Thompson.)

Genesis have sold 200 Million copies of songs worldwide and are at number 10 in the all-time greatest bands of all time. They are also at number 8 in the all time greatest rock bands of all time. Some of their most well known songs include "Domino", "Invisible Touch", "Turn It on Again" and "Land of Confusion". Some of their most well known albums consist of "Trick of the Tail" and "Duke". Their most recent coming out in November 2007 is "Genesis: Live Over Europe". |

When been interviewed Genesis mentioned that they were not making a comeback and that they were only touring to do it for fun. Phil Collins (56), Mike Rutherford (57), and Tony Banks (54) all stated that they were to retire after the north american and european tours. |

Genesis are well known for their lighting and effects in live concerts. On the Turn it on Again 2007 tour it was their best tour in terms of effects. Usually they use effects such as Smoke, lighting, special effects, etc. |
