Ethos

Our school is an important part of the whole community of New Town, and we welcome children of all faiths and beliefs. We are a Church of England school and our daily Act of Worship is a simple Christian service. We also maintain close links with St Hardings Church. Children learn from everything they see and hear around them and the nature of our school is woven into everything we do.

Location

Our school is on the outskirts of New Town and is an area of interesting development and close to countryside of great natural beauty.

The school was built in 1972 and has 7 classrooms, a central hall and a kitchen. In 1992 the school was extended and 5 purpose built open plan classrooms were added along with a library, studio and cookery area. There are 2 adventure playgrounds, 2 hard play areas and a large grassed area leading to our nature garden and environmental study area.
